Our youngest has had an affinity for bow ties since he was in Junior High School. Those old 'clip-on' bow ties were easy, and they were always the right fit -not like the neckties, where the length was pre-set, and much harder to wear correctly.
Now, as an adult, he still wears them far more often than neckties. He's finishing up his residency as a surgeon now, and whether he is at the hospital or at an event outside work that requires a tie of some sort, he will usually choose a bow tie.
He loves well-made clothing. The bow tie we purchased for his 30th birthday had to be made by experts and by hand, not by a machine or mass-manufacturing plant. After looking at several makers' websites and reading reviews, we decided to order his gift from R. Hanauer Bow Ties, believing the handmade, American-made, finely crafted workmanship would win the day -and his approval.
We weren't wrong. Our son was DELIGHTED with the expert workmanship, the cut, the color, the pattern, and the high-quality materials assembled in the U.S. He has long since mastered the technique of tying a bow tie, so when it was lying loose, he was able to examine the quality of the piece. Again, he was, and is, very pleased!

Within 30 days of purchase, R. Hanauer will gladly accept the return of any unused, full price product provided that the item was purchased directly from R. Hanauer. All returns and exchanges will incur a 10% restocking fee.
