Shipping and Returns

R. Hanauer bow ties, ascots, and cummerbund sets are hand-made-to-order at our workshop in Fort Mill, SC. If you are unsure about a color or design, or would like to see the cloth in person before placing an order, please email info@bowties.com with the style number and your mailing address. We will be happy to send you a free swatch. 

When will I get my order? R. Hanauer will typically make and ship your order within two business days of receipt. Your delivery time is determined by your location and the shipping method you choose. We offer the following domestic shipping methods: USPS 1st Class $3 (1-6 days *no tracking), USPS Priority $6 (1-6 days), UPS Ground $15 (1-5 business days), UPS 2nd Day $25 (2 business days), UPS Next Day $50 (next business day). Priority shipping is free for orders of $150 and up. 

International Shipping: UPS International $50 (6-12 days). *R. Hanauer is not responsible for additional taxes, duty, brokerage or customs fees.

Within 30 days of purchase, R. Hanauer will gladly accept the return of any unused, full price product provided that the item was purchased directly from R. Hanauer. All returns will incur a 10% restocking fee. While we do not accept direct exchanges, you may place a new order whenever you are ready. There must be an original invoice or packing slip created by R. Hanauer enclosed with the returned product. Outgoing freight charges will not be credited and we do not provide return shipping labels. Returns are usually processed within one week of receiving them. Please be aware that it may take up to one full billing period for it to appear on your statement. R. Hanauer will not accept returns or exchanges of custom items or items from the "On Sale" page.
